International White Cane Day Supports Services for the Visually Impaired

The Link frequently collaborates with rehabilitation organisations and supports physical and mental rehabilitation. On 14 October, The Link sent a team of over 10 staff members to take part in a fundraising walk for International White Cane Day 2012, organised by the Hong Kong Blind Union. Many of The Link’s employees who took part in the walk also oversee the Barrier Free Access facilities at The Link’s properties. Their participation gave them a glimpse into the experience of the visually impaired and the inconveniences and difficulties they face.
