中法兩國都以飲食文化深厚見稱,赤柱廣場新開業的亞洲混合菜餐廳Pinot Duck的負責人李先生 (Roy) 解釋,Pinot為原產自法國勃根地 (Burgundy) 的釀酒葡萄品種,而中國人善於用鴨烹製菜式,故此結合兩大特色,創出新派美饌佳釀。

店內除有多款Pinot紅酒供應,其菜式八成以鴨作為食材,每碟賣相「的骰」猶如西班牙下酒小菜。

「菜單上有傳統北京填鴨、八寶鴨、台式鹽酥鴨等,亦有加入創新元素的菜式,如鴨肉意大利飯、鴨肉餃子、鴨蛋蠔仔烙。烹調方式著重健康,小碟份量迎合現今輕食文化,亦讓客人可品嚐更多菜式。」

舖面設計中西合壁,美籍設計師運用石磚牆、石枱、木製餐椅、書法圖案等中國元素,使人大有置身四合院之感。


China and France are both food-loving nations. Roy Lee, who manages the newly opened Asian fusion restaurant Pinot Duck at Stanley Plaza, said that the Burgundy-originated grape family, and the popular poultry meat in Chinese cuisine, symbolise two great culinary cultures, and together, they make a perfect pairing.

The restaurant offers tapas-sized dishes predominantly made with duck, and a great selection of Pinot red wine.

"Apart from traditional dishes like Peking Duck, our menu features fusion dishes like duck-made risotto and dumplings, and baby oyster omelette with duck egg. Our food is made with healthy cooking methods, and offered in small portion to suit the light dining culture, and allow customers to enjoy more food choices."

The brainchild of an American designer, the shop decor is a blend of the East and the West, featuring brick walls, wooden benches, and stone tables, all reminiscent of the traditional Chinese Siheyuan.

比國啤酒新店 赤柱海濱迎夏日
Enjoying Cold Beer in Sea Breeze

沿著海濱走進赤柱廣場,首間看到的食肆就是比利時啤酒專門店Frituur Belgie,意為比利時美食車。負責人崔先生(Marcus)指出,比國造酒歷史悠久,其出產的啤酒口感層次豐富,甘甜留在味蕾時間特長,當中以該國修道院釀製的品質尤佳。

店舖雖小,卻五藏俱全。「店內提供20多款生啤及樽裝酒,包括有機啤酒和深受女士歡迎的水果啤酒。我們堅持比利時人飲酒傳統,所有啤酒都會以其品牌專用酒杯送上,並且供應自創小食。」

赤柱廣場近年完成提升工程,設置露天雅座,並優化戶外廣場,讓顧客能盡享臨海景致。「物業享有環境優勢,顧客鍾情一杯在手,一邊欣賞景色或表演節目,一邊享用美食。」

The Belgian beer specialist "Frituur Belgie", which means Belgian Food Cart, is the first shop to greet you at Stanley Plaza's sea-front entrance. Shop owner Marcus Tsui said that beers from the centuries-old brewing nation offer multi-textured aromas, with long after-tastes. Its Trappist beers, in particular, are known for their best quality.

For its humble size, the shop has a lot to offer, with over 20 types of draught beers and bottled beers, including organic beers and fruit beers, which are popular among ladies. "We stick with the Belgian tradition of serving the beers in their own branded glasses. We also offer customers our self-created snacks."

The renovated Stanley Plaza offers outdoor seating and a spacious amphitheatre to make use of its natural setting. "Because of the property's unique leisure atmosphere, many customers like to enjoy the cold beers and snack at outdoor seating while savouring the sea view or watching stage performances."

New Trail in Asian Cuisines

大元商場不單設有領匯首個摩登街市,其一樓美食平台近月進行優化工程,加入京川滬、日、台、韓等菜系,大幅擴闊菜餚種類,跟昔日以茶餐廳為主的單一化選擇大相逕庭。部分原有商戶繼續經營,亦引入多間小型食肆,當中有一直經營台灣菜式的商戶,歷久「嘗」新,把握韓風機遇,擴展業務。

100米台式餐廳率先於全新大元商場美食平台開業,主打台式肉燥飯及擔仔麵等台式美食,並加入花茶及甜品等新元素作為招徠。該店負責人鍾小姐(Michelle) 17年前首度開設台式食肆,現於長發廣場及大埔區均設有分店。眼見近年韓國潮流文化風靡香港,加上大眾日益注重飲食健康,她深信清淡韓式美食有叫座力,故同時於商場內開設韓菜餐廳Running Korea。

Michelle說:「Running Korea 以多伴菜、少油的簡便套餐為賣點,特別推介牛骨湯,出品皆由來自廚藝世家的韓籍大廚主理,質素更有保証。舖內布置以藍色為主調,播放K-Pop歌曲,展現活力形像,有助吸引年輕客群。」

選址大元商場,皆因對大埔區的市場已有一定掌握,兩店設於同一商場亦便於管理。兩者取名都跟跑步有關,寓意創新永不停步。她指出,開業以來吸引不同年齡的顧客,包括鄰近居民、工業邨上班一族、學生、職業司機等,客流及生意令人滿意。

The newly renovated Tai Yuen Commercial Centre's food podium is bringing in a broad range of cuisine choices, covering Shanghainese, Japanese, Taiwanese and Korean choices. It is a far cry from the old days when tenants were predominantly Hong Kong-style tea restaurants. While some original tenants continue their businesses there, new small tenants were also introduced, including an experienced operator that has expanded into Korean cuisine.

Offering traditional Taiwanese dishes such as minced pork rice and noodle, 100M Taiwanese Restaurant is the first tenant opening at the renovated food podium. Shop owner Michelle Chung, who operates shops of the same brand in Cheung Fat Shopping Centre and Tai Po district, also started Running Korea next door at the podium to serve light Korean meal sets, in view of rising popularity of Korean culture.

"Our meal sets are made with plenty of vegetables, and little oil. Our native Korean chef comes from a culinary family. The shop features a blue colour tone and K-Pop music, projecting a young image that appeals to youngsters." said Michelle.

Tai Yuen was chosen as the shop location because she is familiar with the Tai Po district. Having two shops in the same centre is also easier to manage. Both shop names relate to running as they connote energy and endless innovation. Diner traffic at the restaurants has been satisfactory, according to Michelle.

In terms of management resources, small restaurants are no match for chain ones. We are hoping to draw in customers with fresh tasty food without MSG. To sharpen their customer service skills, we have sent our staff to workshops organised by The Link Tenant Academy.

經營餐飲業多年的張先生 (Andy),看準大埔區特色中菜的商機,於大元美食平台首次開設中菜食肆「四季名滬」,主打京、川、滬、浙、湘五大省市風味菜餚及點心,提供「飲茶」好去處。

Andy甚為欣賞外省菜香濃味道,得到多位志同道合、廚藝精湛的廚師加盟,於是開設此新舖。

他說:「大元商場客源多元化,除了鄰近多個公營及私人屋苑居民,亦有工業邨上班一族。我們堅持於舖內每日新鮮製作食品,避免由工場運送食物影響質素,大眾化的定價亦有助推廣。」


To fill a market niche in specialty Chinese cuisine within the Tai Po District, Andy Cheung has set up a new Chinese restaurant at Tai Yuen Food Podium, where diners can enjoy classic dishes and Dim Sum from Beijing, Sichuan, Shanghai, Zhejiang and Hunan ─ all under one roof.

A fan of cuisines from those Chinese cities and provinces, Andy said that he feels lucky to be joined by a number of highly skilled chefs who share his passion for Chinese food.

He said "The property's diverse customer base comprises residents of nearby private and public housing estates, as well as office workers from the industrial estate. We hope to draw in customers with competitive pricing and food freshly made inside our shop."

期望隨著大元美食平台完成優化,匯聚多間亞洲菜餚的食肆,做到成行成市,夜市暢旺起來,成為區內「揾」食首選。

The enhanced Tai Yuen Food Podium is attracting a wide selection of Asian restaurants, with strong food offerings during the evenings. Hopefully, this will make it a preferred dining area in the district.

許多商戶背後都有其獨特的奮鬥故事。在領匯企業傳訊部的安排下,多個傳媒早前專訪旗下商戶,有新晉設計師開設自家時裝品牌,有商戶第二代求變突圍,亦有餐廳以特色服務吸引街坊積極擴張。透過有關特寫報導,公眾不但加深對商戶的認識,亦了解他們為提升營運所作的心思。

Each tenant has a unique story to tell. At the introduction of The Link's Corporate Communications Department, a number of news media interviewed tenants on their path to success, including an emerging designer starting a boutique, a second-generation tenant seeking new breakthrough to keep up with the changing time, and a new restaurant operator attracting customers with unique service. Those feature stories have offered a glimpse into the hard work and smart ideas put in by tenants.

香港生活及工作節奏急速,容易積累壓力,影響健康。壓力及情緒處理得宜,可轉化為推動自己的力量。「領匯商戶學堂」於3月邀得香港健康情緒中心臨床心理學家郭碧珊,向商戶講解透過思想重整、減少壓力源、鬆弛練習、釋放壓力四部曲,妥善管理壓力及情緒。

Stress and emotions, if well managed, can be transformed into a powerful self-motivating force. In March, Kathleen Kwok, clinical psychologist from Hong Kong Mood Disorder Centre, conducted a Tenant Academy seminar to guide tenants on how to manage stress and tension in four steps, namely re-organising one's thoughts, tackling stress at source, performing relaxing exercises and releasing pressure.

Handling Customer Complaints Effectively

與顧客建立良好關係,是成功營商之道。天高管理發展執行董事張鳳欣,具備逾15年專業顧問培訓及發展經驗,於3月「領匯商戶學堂」講座中以小組形式,透過技巧分享、案例研究及角色扮演,與商戶分享顧客投訴的成因及處理技巧。

Building strong customer relationships is a key driver of business success. Grace Cheung, Executive Director of Tiptop Consultants, and a veteran in corporate training, led a series of Tenant Academy Workshops in March. Through skill sharing, case studies and role plays, she helped tenants understand the root causes of customer complaints and offered strategies for their resolution.

領匯早前假啟田商場舉行「領頭彩•匯福氣」新春開市吉日,與一眾商戶慶賀羊年新歲。「心想事成」是新年常用的祝福,行政總裁王國龍指出成就顧客、商戶心中所想,正是領匯團隊每天的工作。除了金龍醒獅表演、開市儀式及精彩舞台節目,同日更舉行商戶春茗及抽獎活動,以答謝出席商戶一直以來對領匯的支持。

The Link celebrated the Year of the Goat with its tenants at the Spring Gathering in Kai Tin Shopping Centre. Drawing on the well-known new year greeting for wishing dreams will come true, CEO George Hongchoy said that fulfilling customers' and tenants' dream is what The Link team does each day. A wide array of festive performances were presented at the event, including dragon dance, and lion dance. A spring luncheon with lucky draw was also held to thank tenants for their strong support over the years.
