To usher in the Chinese New Year, Metropolitan Plaza featured the LUCK TEAM cartoon characters denoting the five attributes of a good life ─ fortune, prosperity, longevity, happiness and wealth – while its outdoor piazza showcased a glittering 13-metre-high pagoda symbolising unending blessings. The mall’s Chinese New Year promotion programme, which was kicked off by a well-known cartoon dog character, featured a wide range of activities, including games, crystal ball DIY workshops, a parade, a lucky draw and limited edition gifts for shoppers based on the LUCK TEAM characters.

為迎接狗年，廣州西城都薈廣場滿佈象徵「福祿壽財喜」的五福LUCK TEAM卡通裝飾，戶外廣場則設置13米高的五福「步步高升塔」，寓意福氣連連。商場更推出消費推廣，送出LUCK TEAM限量禮品。「新春繽紛西城遊園會」活動由小朋友至愛的卡通明星汪汪阿奇揭開序幕，藉著遊戲、水晶球DIY、歡樂巡遊及福袋幸運抽獎等多項活動，與顧客共慶新春。

As part of its winter promotion programme, EC Mall presented fantasy scenes featuring real-life Barbie dolls, a flying balloon filled with gifts and a cash cannon game, all while hosting an entertaining interactive session with popular talk show host Yuan Bao and a winter market offering artistic decorative items and original DIY gifts. In celebration of the “Double 12” shopping festival, the mall joined hands with undergarment retailer 6IXTY 8IGHT to give away shopping vouchers.

To celebrate Chinese New Year, Link offered shoppers Lai See packets and pouches at 47 designated shopping centres and markets. These festive gifts featured auspicious icons and four elegant spot colours of magenta, red, peach blossom pink and cyan. The Lai See packets were printed with gold embossing, while the pouches showcased colourful geometric patterns.

領展旗下指定47個商場及街市推出以新春吉祥物為題的利是封及收納袋。利是封以紫、殷紅、桃紅及青松綠四種高貴典雅的專色為主調，並以燙金及3D浮雕印刷技術製作；而收納袋則展示色彩斑斕的幾何圖案，精緻實用。顧客消費滿指定金額即可換領，為親友送上新春祝福。

To usher in the Year of the Dog, Link’s Temple Mall created “Pinwheels of Good Fortune”, an auspicious installation crafted from 16,888 pinwheels. Standing 6.8 metres tall in a rainbow-coloured figure-of-eight formation, this magnificent installation sets a new Guinness World Record for “the world’s largest pinwheel display”.

In addition to a flower market offering festive food and handmade merchandise, Temple Mall celebrated the arrival of Chinese New Year with a packed programme of festive events, including a meet-and-greet with the God of Wealth, a giveaway of spun cotton candy and dragon’s beard candy, free red banners, and music and dance performances.

Renowned programme host Sammy Leung shared his experience of picking himself up after a serious mistake, and showed how to prevail in the face of adversity. During the event, we also invited experts to share the latest trends in mobile payment with our tenants.

Link hosted a spring reception at T Town on 22 February to celebrate the Year of the Dog with tenants. Officiating at the ceremony with our senior management team was CEO George Hongchoy, who said, "Since our IPO, we have completed 59 asset enhancement projects with a total investment of over HK$6 billion, supporting tenants’ business growth by improving the shopping environment and boosting shopper traffic. Looking ahead, as the retail sector continues its growth trend, we will step up our partnership with tenants to capture more business opportunities.”

「領展新春開市吉日暨商戶春茗」於2月22日假T Town舉行，與商戶慶祝狗年。行政總裁王國龍聯同管理層主持開市儀式，他致辭時表示：「上市12年以來，領展已經完成59個項目，總投資額逾60億，提升環境，增加人流，帶旺商戶生意。展望今年，零售業預料持續向好，我們會同商戶緊密合作，拓展更多商機。」

"We link you to a healthy future!" is the theme of this year’s staff activities at Link. To promote healthy living, Link is offering staff fresh fruit, in addition to pampering them with massage services and providing free-to-use electrical massage chairs at the office.

Michelle from the finance department, who used the massage service, said, “The pleasant surprises the company has in store for staff remind us of the need to lead a healthy life. The masseurs from The Hong Kong Society for the Blind were very professional, bringing us relaxation while offering preventive health tips.”

領展新一年的員工活動以「連繫好健康」為主題，推出多項新猷，包括為員工提供按專業按摩服務及並送上新鮮生果，更於辦公室加設按摩椅。曾用過有關按摩服務的財務部Michelle表示，「公司今次帶來的貼心驚喜，鼓勵員工注意健康。來自香港盲人輔導會的按摩師十分專業，除了舒緩筋骨，亦會分享預防勞損的心得。」

At the Chinese New Year lunch gathering, hundreds of staff members got together to share festive joy, while members of the senior management team gave out red packets to bring luck. An energetic lion dance was staged to herald the arrival of the new year and bring good fortune to all.

於「開年飯」活動，管理層與數百位同事聚首一堂共慶新春，互相祝賀。管理層即場大派利是，新春期間更有醒獅演助興，場面非常熱鬧。
