Creativity to Drive Portfolio Growth

At the time of writing this message, Link’s team has just become the first occupant of The Quayside, our flagship commercial asset in Kowloon East. When we embarked on this office development project four years ago, our expertise was mainly in managing and enhancing retail properties. Over these years, we have accomplished major breakthroughs in developing new business drivers and diversifying our portfolio. Our success in navigating new business frontiers speaks to our proactive, forward-looking corporate culture, which we strive to build on with our newly announced Vision 2025.

Supported by three pillars – portfolio growth, a culture of excellence and visionary creativity – Vision 2025 establishes a set of targets across our business for the next few years. In terms of portfolio growth, we have our sights set on achieving high single-digit compound annual growth in portfolio value and sustainable DPU growth and maintaining our strong credit ratings. To this end, we seek to enhance our portfolio quality and diversify our portfolio mix through the acquisition of quality assets. Our core business and our expansion priority remain in Hong Kong while we actively look at inorganic opportunities in Mainland China's tier-one cities and their surrounding river delta areas.

Our staff is the linchpin for delivering excellent results and building relationships with our stakeholders. As we advance our goal of becoming an employer of choice, our focus remains on attracting and retaining top talent, and engaging our staff with a transparent work environment that promotes work-life balance and leadership development. Housing key business functions under one roof, our new head office at The Quayside will help further strengthen our teamwork and take our culture of excellence to a new level.

As far as visionary creativity goes, we hope to build a truly sustainable business that enhances the lives of those around us by applying creativity in placemaking and technological innovation. From reducing our carbon footprint through energy conservation and waste recycling to helping those in need through Link Together Initiatives, we are continuously seeking new ways to enhance our positive impact on the community. Meanwhile, our regional leadership in green finance and our support for various United Nations sustainability initiatives contribute to the setting of high global standards in environmental, social and governance practices.

Vision 2025 sets out our strategic objectives to become a respected regional player. Building on our strong foundation, and with the support of our stakeholders, we look forward to rounding out our second decade with great strides towards Vision 2025.

執筆之時,領展的團隊剛剛進駐旗下位處九龍東的旗艦商業項目 – 海濱匯,成為其首批使用者。四年前落實這個辦公室發展項目之時,我們的業務專長主要是零售資產的管理及提升。這些年來我們在提升增長動力和業務多元化方面取得重要突破。新業務領域的拓展充分體現了我們具遠見、積極進取的企業文化,我們期望藉著最近公佈的「2025願景」在這優良基礎上再創佳績。

「2025願景」建基於組合增長、卓越文化及創新遠見三大支柱,就多個範疇為未來數年訂出目標。有關物業組合增長,我們目標是資產組合估值每年均能取得高個位數的複合增長率,每基金單位分派可持續增加,並維持穩健的信貸評級。為此。我們致力透過收購優質資產,以及提升投資組合質素,令其更為多元化。香港會繼續是業務核心及擴充業務首選地,我們並會於中國內地一線城市及其周邊河流三角洲地區積極物色收購機會。

就創新遠見而言,我們期望透過創新的地方營造及科技應用,令業務真正可持續發展,提升社群生活質素。我們積極探索新方法擴大對社區的正面影響,包括推出節能及廢物回收措施減少碳足印,並藉著「愛‧匯聚計劃」幫助有需要人士。透過引領區內綠色金融發展及支持聯合國可持續發展相關計劃,我們更與各地同業協作,就環境、社會及管治範疇訂出更高標準。

「2025願景」的戰略目標有助推動公司發展成為區內首屈一指的房地產企業。2025年標誌領展上市二十周年的重要里程,我們期望公司在各方持份者的支持下,朝著「2025願景」繼續取得長足發展。
