"The Link Together Initiatives" Brings Positive Energy to the Community
領匯「愛‧匯聚計劃」遴選委員會及顧問WiseGiving（香港社會服務聯會轄下機構）經過多個月的嚴格篩選後，從接近150份合資格的申請中，選出10項傑出的社區服務項目，並經領匯董事會通過，總共批出1,042萬港元的捐助。
該10個獲選的社區服務項目，服務範圍涵蓋港九新界13區，預計受惠人數接近10萬人次。主要服務對象為社區內的長者、兒童及青少年。
After careful scrutiny, 10 community projects were chosen from nearly 150 eligible applications by "The Link Together Initiatives" ("the Initiatives") selection committee and project consultant WiseGiving (under The Hong Kong Council of Social Service). With the endorsement of The Link's Board of Directors, the Initiatives' total donation will reach HK$10.42 million this year.
The 10 projects will provide services to children, youth and seniors in 13 districts in Hong Kong. The total number of beneficiaries is expected to reach 100,000 people.

「愛‧匯聚計劃」有別於一般的慈善捐助項目，除了金錢上的支援外，領匯更邀請15位來自不同部門的同事擔任項目贊助人，成為領匯與服務機構的溝通橋樑，就場地贊助、招募義工和項目宣傳等方面為機構出謀獻策，成為香港一個推動社區發展的有效動力。
On top of financial support, 15 staff members from various departments are appointed as staff sponsors, serving as the primary contacts between The Link and the NGOs, while playing a combined advisory and monitoring role in helping the NGOs achieve their community project objectives.
「愛‧匯聚計劃項目贊助人開展儀式」10月20日於鯉魚門廣場舉行，獲捐款的其中四個服務機構為大會提供精采的街舞、話劇及別開生面的活動，更設置攤位向市民介紹項目內容，場面熱鬧。
"The Link Together Initiatives Launching Ceremony – Connecting Staff Sponsors with the Community" was held on 20 October at Lei Yue Mun Plaza. The event bustled with joy and excitement where spectacular street dance and drama performances were delivered; booths were also set up for introducing each awarded project.

「領匯社區體育學院」自成立以來，深受市民歡迎，秋季課程更收到過千張報名表格，其中滾軸溜冰及保齡球班更迅即額滿，反應熱烈。
學院成功於社區推動運動風氣，惠及各個年齡層和有不同需要的人士。其中在愛民廣場內開設的保齡球班，更特別招待多個復康團體參加，而各區的太極班亦吸引不少長者參與。
學院今季亦有新猷：特別開設精英訓練班，重點培訓上一季度表現出色的學員，藉以提升他們的運動潛能。學院更安排就讀香港中大專業進修學院「康樂及休閒事務管理」的學生擔任義工，於滾軸溜冰班中協助班務，以瞭解教學的實際運作，讓他們有機會學以致用。
In its second year since its launch, The Link Community Sports Academy has been well received. Over 1,000 applications were received for the autumn courses this year, with roller skating and bowling classes filling up in just a few days.
The academy has promoted the awareness of sports and health in the community, while offering sporting opportunities to people of all ages. Those in need have also benefited, with fun activities such as bowling classes for the physically challenged and tai chi classes for the elderly.
This season the academy will also include advanced training for previous participants who demonstrated exceptional ability, giving them the opportunity to further hone their skills. Students of the Recreation & Leisure Management Programme under the School of Continuing and Professional Studies at The Chinese University of Hong Kong will work as assistants in the roller skating classes to learn how to operate a sports course.

I am glad I am able to join the free bowling course in my eighties. I had worried that my bowling skills were not up to par, but because of the coach's teaching, I have become more confident and my technique has improved - I even bowled a strike!

Achieves an Advanced Level in the United Nations Global Compact
領匯呈交今年的《可持續發展報告》予聯合國全球契約組織作進展情況通報，報告獲組織評定為「高等級別」，即符合相關準則中的最少17項，足證報告透明度高，能清晰展示公司在過去一年實施可持續發展的情況。
領匯於2012年9月簽訂了聯合國全球契約，承諾在營運及策略上遵守十項關於人權、勞工、環境及反腐敗等原則，是首家簽署此契約的亞洲房地產投資信託基金。
The Link REIT's Sustainability Report 2013 was submitted as the Communication on Progress to the United Nations Global Compact and has attained an advanced level. This proves the report's high transparency in outlining The Link's sustainability initiatives and efforts.
In September 2012, The Link REIT became the first Asia-based REIT to become a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact. The Link REIT is committed to aligning its operations and strategies with 10 principles in the areas of human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption.
以愛引路 學習接待導盲犬
The Link Supports the Visually Impaired with Love and Care
領匯全線商場歡迎視障人士攜同導盲犬到訪，作為社區共融的推動者，領匯為員工訂下相關指引，確保他們以正確的態度和技巧接待導盲犬 — 不但以誠以禮相待，更必須做到耐心聆聽，隨時提供協助。在人流較多的時候，員工亦應該從旁協助，顧及其他顧客的需要。
至於大家如何辨認導盲犬？原來導盲犬身上有個好像扶手的導盲鞍。
領匯更與香港導盲犬協會合作，由今年九月至明年四月期間，於旗下各區商場設置宣傳攤位，並安排視障人士及其導盲犬親身與市民見面，讓大家瞭解他們的特性及日常注意事項，加深市民對導盲犬的認識，全力推動傷健一家的理念。
All of The Link's shopping centres are now open to guide dogs accompanying their visually impaired users. In order to help them integrate better into the community, The Link has conducted training for frontline staff to ensure they are equipped with the right attitudes and skills to provide appropriate assistance for guide dogs. During high-traffic hours, staff will also provide hands-on assistance to ensure other customers are comfortable with the arrangement.
In cooperation with the Hong Kong Guide Dog Association, exhibition booths at various shopping centres will be set up between September 2013 and April 2014 for visually impaired people and their guide dogs to meet members of the public, promoting a better understanding of guide dogs. Guide dogs can be easily distinguished from other dogs by their guide dog saddle.

Gathered at Stanley Plaza
亞洲首個國際現場繪畫比賽「香港國際青少年繪畫比賽2012/13」八月圓滿完成。這次比賽選取香港多個特色地標性建築及景點作現場寫生題材，藉以展現香港中西文化匯萃的國際化特色。位處南區臨海地段的赤柱廣場，亦獲大會選為比賽場地之一。
而位於屯門的良景廣場亦成為是次比賽巡迴展覽的其中一站，展出合共50幅於活動首階段獲獎的傑出畫作，讓市民欣賞優美靈動的青少年藝術作品。
Asia's first international live painting competition, "International Children Painting Competition in Hong Kong 2012/13", was successfully held in August. Talented young artists gathered to paint Hong Kong's landmarks and attractions, with The Link providing Stanley Plaza as the picturesque venue for the competition.
Leung King Plaza in Tuen Mun also served as an exhibition venue. With a total of 50 winning pieces of art from the competition's first phase on display, visitors to the plaza were able to enjoy the creative and distinctive art pieces created by children from around the world.

四十名來自世界各地的青少年畫壇精英於8月27日雲集赤柱廣場露天廣場的玻璃天幕下進行比賽，以古蹟美利樓、卜公碼頭、海濱長廊作繪畫題材。
40 participants from all over the world gathered at Stanley Plaza Amphitheatre to compete in the live painting competition, with the nearby Murray House, Blake Pier and Stanley Promenade chosen as the subjects.
