兩年前，領匯首度收購物業，把將軍澳的南豐廣場及海悅豪園羅致旗下，最近又成功出售了四項物業 (興田商場、華貴商場、葵興商場及東熹苑之商舖及停車場) ，進一步為基金單位持有人創造價值。
為甚麼領匯會有出售物業的構思？出售物業對公司及持份者有何得益？
作為房地產資產管理人，領匯視出售資產為資金流轉策略之一，務求為基金單位持有人創造最大價值。領匯行政總裁王國龍表示：「這次物業出售不但體現了領匯管理及回收資本的能力，亦顯示了領匯旗下的物業在地產市場極具吸引力；更重要的是，是次成交可以成為領匯物業組合作估值時的重要參考基準。」
今年初，領匯於特別大會上獲基金單位持有人通過，讓投資策略擴大至香港以外的地區。很多人認為是次出售資產實為進軍內地而鋪路。王國龍解釋，出售資產與擴大投資範圍至內地的策略無直接關係，領匯的財務狀況穩健，有充足的流動資金（數十億港元）作投資，因此毋須依賴出售資產所得的收益來投資內地項目。
Two years ago, The Link made its debut acquisitions by adding Nan Fung Plaza and Maritime Bay in Tseung Kwan O to its portfolio. This year, The Link made a step further by successfully completing the sale of four properties (Hing Tin Commercial Centre, Wah Kwai Shopping Centre, Kwai Hing Shopping Centre and Tung Hei Court Retail and Car Park), thereby adding value to its unitholders.
Why did The Link have the idea to dispose of its properties? How does this benefit the company as well as its stakeholders?
As a responsible manager, The Link sees disposal as part of capital recycling strategy to create more value for unitholders. "The disposal has demonstrated The Link's disciplined approach to capital management and recycling, the existence of a market for our properties and the establishment of transacted prices as basis for the valuation of our portfolio," said George Hongchoy, CEO of The Link.
At the Extraordinary General Meeting held earlier this year, The Link received unitholders' approval to expand its geographical scope of investment strategy to outside Hong Kong. Many people believe that The Link is paving the way for its expansion in China by disposing of its assets. George explained that the disposal has little to do with The Link's investment strategy into China. The Link has a healthy balance sheet and ample liquidity for investments and therefore does not need the sale proceeds to fund the company's new investments.

人才培訓方面，領匯獲僱員再培訓局於第五屆「ERB人才企業嘉許計劃」中嘉許為「人才企業」。
Following the latest index review, The Link will continue to be a constituent of the FTSE4Good Index, affirming its compliance with internationally recognised social responsibility standards, and attesting to the progress made in advancing its corporate vision and enhancing people's lives.
With regard to employee relations, in recognition of its comprehensive staff relations and communications, The Link received the Silver Award in the "Internal Relations" category at the "11th China Golden Awards for Excellence in Public Relations" organised by the China International Public Relations Association. With its family-friendly culture, The Link was also named a "Family-friendly Employer" in year 2013/14 by the Family Council.
By building a culture promoting learning and professional development, The Link was named a "Manpower Developer" in the 5th "ERB Manpower Developer Award Scheme" organised by the Employees Retraining Board.

CEO George Hongchoy participated in a panel as part of the "Ernst & Young Strategic Growth Forum: Getting Governance Right for Growth" in Shanghai where he shared his views on how to improve corporate governance standards using The Link as an example. The Link makes great efforts to engage its consumers and employees, and the company operates with total transparency to meet the ever changing expectations of its stakeholders.

Hong Kong Tax Landscape - Today and Tomorrow
由香港稅務學會主辦的「話古 • 說今 • 展望未來」稅務專題展覽於2014年6月至12月，在領匯旗下八個商場作巡迴展出。領匯首席財務總監張利民出席了於樂富廣場舉行的開幕儀式，他表示香港簡單的稅制及較低的稅率，深得國際組織及中外投資者認同。
From June to December 2014, the Taxation Institute of Hong Kong is presenting a roving exhibition titled "Hong Kong Tax Landscape - Today and Tomorrow" at eight shopping centres owned and managed by The Link. CFO Andy Cheung attended the opening ceremony held at Lok Fu Plaza and delivered a speech outlining Hong Kong's simple, low-rate tax system, which is recognised as being advantageous by organisations and investors worldwide.

Dr Calvin Kwan, General Manager – Sustainability, attended the 8th Annual MBA CSR Conference organised by students at the CUHK Business School to share his thoughts on creating value through sustainability. He showcased The Link's experience with the Tai Yuen Market revitalisation project.

CityU: Company Consultancy Projects
領匯與香港城市大學市場營銷學系合作進行公司市場研究計劃已踏入第六年。今年，學生們針對領匯旗下的厚德商場及顯徑商場，制定顧客主導的業務策略。財務總監翟廸強出席計劃頒獎儀式，向得獎隊伍頒發獎項。
For six years The Link has partnered with the Department of Marketing of City University of Hong Kong (CityU) on the Company Consultancy Projects. This year, the students developed customer-focused business strategies for two shopping centres of The Link, namely Hau Tak Shopping Centre and Hin Keng Shopping Centre. Hubert Chak, Director of Finance, presented the award to the winning team during the award presentation ceremony.
