While e-payment is not unfamiliar to consumers, Hong Kong has been slow in adopting mobile-based payment services to streamline retail transactions. All this is set to change as a faster payment system will be launched in Hong Kong later this year under a government-industry partnership to facilitate payments between merchants and customers. By pioneering a new one-stop mobile payment service through our Park & Dine app, we are well-poised to tap into the new opportunities presented by this new trend.

Park & Dine’s newly introduced mobile e-payment function supports parking fee settlement through nine major payment service providers in Hong Kong. As an e-platform connecting our malls, customers and tenants with such innovative features as real-time parking information, e-queuing and e-coupons, the app has already achieved 250,000 downloads, and rising.

Digital technologies have helped transform shopping experience and offer valuable insights into shopping preferences. With this in mind, we are looking beyond expanding e-payment services to our tenants to include new digital applications such as an innovative reward scheme for shoppers. Our 700 Nathan Road commercial complex, a new retail destination in the making at the heart of Mong Kok, has become our testing ground for many of these applications, which will be extended to our other shopping centres in due course. Through our Link Tenant Academy, we are also equipping tenants with the requisite know-how to take advantage of new trends and opportunities in digital technology.

Innovation and technology have opened up a new frontier in retailing. By helping our tenants tap into new opportunities in the digital realm, we hope to further elevate the overall shopping experience and drive tenant sales.

香港在電子支付方面原本具領導地位,惟在應用手機支付技術以簡化日常零售交易方面,則發展緩慢。相信隨著政府與業界聯手於今年稍後推出快速支付系統,將令商店與客戶之間的交易更加便捷。 領展正把握這新趨勢帶來的機遇,透過「泊食易」應用程式作為平台,開拓創新一站式手機支付服務。

「泊食易」引入全新「手機支付」功能,支援九大電子付費機構繳付泊車費。該應用程式透過實時車位資訊、食肆遙距取票服務、電子優惠券等服務,將顧客、商場和商戶緊密連繫,下載次數已達25萬,並持續上升。

數碼科技於提升購物體驗及掌握消費者購物喜好方面有龐大助力,我們不但計劃把有關支付服務推廣至商戶,以提高其業務效率,亦正積極探索各種新數碼技術應用方案,包括嶄新的購物獎勵計劃。旗下位於旺角核心地段的彌敦道700號商業項目成了技術試點,不同的應用方案將於發展成熟時擴展至其他商場。「領展商戶學堂」亦推出相關課堂,協助商戶掌握數碼科技新趨勢。
