An Exclusive Selection of Over 10,000 Toys from Movie Director Oxide Pang

全港最大型、玩具藏品最多的領匯香港玩具博物館自3月19日起,將永久設於樂富廣場,全年獨家展出著名鬼才導演彭順逾萬件極具價值的私人玩具珍藏,勢必成為玩具迷朝聖之地。

HK Toy Museum @ The Link, the largest ever permanent toy museum in Hong Kong, opened to the public on 19 March at Lok Fu Plaza. The Link has partnered with famous movie director Oxide Pang to showcase an exclusive selection of over 10,000 valuable toys from Pang's private collection.

大會特別安排彭順導演與一眾主禮嘉賓包括領匯行政總裁王國龍、領匯市場策劃及推廣主管黃端華,以及人氣DJ森美乘坐為是次開幕禮而打造的「夢想號戰車」浩蕩出場。

Oxide Pang and other officiating guests, including George Hongchoy, CEO of The Link, Hilda Wong, Head of Marketing of The Link, and famous DJ Sammy Leung, enter the stage on the "Dream Chariot" at the opening ceremony of the HK Toy Museum.

「夢想號戰車」挑戰健力士世界紀錄 為慶祝領匯香港玩具博物館開幕,領匯特別邀請了由十人組成的本地創作團隊「積木王」,用上超過二十萬粒積木,連續兩星期共三百小時日夜趕工砌成「夢想號戰車」,更成功刷新全球最大型可駕駛手砌積木車的健力士世界紀錄。

"Dream Chariot" to Challenge the
Guinness World Record
To celebrate the Opening of HK Toy Museum @ The Link, The Link invited local toy group "Dr. Bricks" to specially make a "Dream Chariot", which successfully breaks the Guinness World Record for the world's largest drivable vehicle made from interlocking plastic bricks. The chariot was painstakingly assembled by 10 people using 200,000 toy bricks for a continuous 300 hours over two weeks.

玩具主題活動浪接浪 一連串以玩具為主題的活動亦在3月至5月期間舉行,當中包括微電影創作比賽、「攝出最愛香港玩具」攝影比賽,以及手辦紙摺模型展覽及工作坊,除了吸引一眾玩具迷參與,親手摺出獨一無二的紙模玩具外,亦讓大眾對紙模藝術有全新的體驗。

A Series of Toy-themed Activities Launched The Link rolled out a series of toy-themed activities between March and May, turning Lok Fu Plaza into a prime destination for toy lovers. Activities included a micro-movie competition, "Favourite HK Toys" photo competition, paper toy model exhibition and paper folding model workshop.

珍貴玩具凝聚本地玩具達人力量 永久性的香港玩具博物館設於樂富廣場A區三樓,全年獨家展出彭順導演逾萬件的私人玩具藏品,當中包括首度曝光的限量版玩具及從各地搜羅的絕版玩具,免費讓公眾人士參觀。彭順導演更會擔任博物館的永遠榮譽館長,不定期現身與玩具愛好者作近距離交流。領匯亦會不定期邀請玩具收藏家以此作平台展示珍藏玩具,讓不同年齡及不同層面的客群欣賞不同年代、不同種類的珍貴玩具,令樂富廣場成為玩具迷的聚腳地。

Gathering the Strength of Toy Lovers Located at 3/F, Zone A of Lok Fu Plaza, the toy museum is free and open to the public, permanently showcasing a collection of over 10,000 unique toys, including debut exhibitions of limited edition and out of production toys from around the world. Oxide, who serves as the Honorary Curator, will be present occasionally to meet the public. The Link will also invite toy collectors to display their collections together with Pang's collection to further enrich visitors' experience and strengthen HK Toy Museum @ The Link as the prime destination for toy lovers.

Stanley Plaza's romantic waterfront scenery, together with its historic landmark Murray House, makes it a wedding photo location of choice for soon-to-be-married couples. To provide a comfortable private space for these couples who want to shoot wedding pictures at Stanley Plaza, a free bridal dressing room rental service was launched by The Link Stanley Plaza at Murray House in March 2014. The Link is promoting this service through special channels, such as distributing promotion leaflets at wedding expos. The Link will also invite tenants in Stanley Plaza to provide wedding-related offers to increase footfall and boost sales.

To celebrate Valentine's Day, The Link organised a series of romance-themed events at Stanley Plaza in February, allowing lovers to share warm Sundays together while increasing footfall for tenants.

空中情人觀景台「Love Bubble」及 「赤柱廣場浪漫行」 赤柱廣場四樓的觀景台於情人節期間化身成為「空中情人觀景台」,愛侶們於活動期間到訪赤柱廣場,在觀景台上俯瞰270度臨海醉人海景外,更掛上寫上雙方名字、如教堂彩繪玻璃的「Love Bubble」情人卡,以此作為愛的見證。於2月的周日,赤柱廣場多家商戶亦於店外增設小攤檔,特選各款精美小禮物及美點,讓一眾情侶享受浪漫氣氛的同時,亦可購買小禮品向另一半表達愛意。

顧客於活動當日在領匯旗下指定商場累積消費滿800港元或以上,更可免費換領「浪漫情人號穿梭巴士」兩張車票,由領匯旗下指定商場往返赤柱廣場及參加「甜蜜工房」活動四次。


The Lovers' Terrace and Stanley Plaza "Sweet Walk" The observation deck on the 4th floor of Stanley Plaza was transformed into "The Lovers' Terrace", couples enjoyed the intoxicating 270-degree waterfront views and hung stained glass-looking "Love Bubble" bearing their names as a symbol of their devotion and everlasting love. Couples could then enjoy a "Sweet Walk" at Stanley Plaza, where they were able to visit a number of featured shops and stalls, where exquisite gifts and snacks were on offer.

In addition, with any purchase of HK$800 or above at selected shopping centres of The Link during the event days, customers were able to receive two free round-trip priority tickets on "The Love Shuttle", which travelled between designated locations and Stanley Plaza, where they were eligible to join "Sweet February Fair" workshops.

Sweet February Fair With any purchase of HK$100 or above at Stanley Plaza or a donation of HK$20 to Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) on event days, customers were able to participate in a featured "Sweet February Fair" workshop. Workshops included cookie decorating, tarot card reading, soap making and charm marking. Additionally, a "love photo booth" enabled couples to create and capture romantic moments, all while supporting the protection of animals. "Sweet February Fair" also created business opportunities for tenants.

於4月12日至5月4日期間,由香港青年藝術協會、海洋補救聯盟及領匯管理有限公司主辦,並與南區區議會合辦了第二屆年度藝術展「海洋藝術展2014在赤柱廣場」,透過一連串的免費活動包括藝術展覽、舞蹈表演及導賞團,通過視覺及表演藝術,表達對海洋生態與人類行為的密切關係,提升大眾的海洋保育意識。

這個為期三星期的藝術展於赤柱廣場及赤柱海濱長廊舉行,共展示出十二位本地和海外藝術家及五十多位青少年所創作的六組雕塑及裝置作品、多張攝影作品及一系列舞蹈表演。有關作品均運用舊物或回收物作為創作媒介,包括2,500個塑膠水樽、500張棄用光碟、350個於赤柱廣場收集的回收玻璃瓶、大量水樽蓋、牙刷及色彩繽紛的海灘垃圾等。經過藝術家細心分類及巧妙拼湊,製作成極具創意的展品,帶出香港的保育議題包括:海洋生態保育、可持續式捕魚及塑膠廢物管制。

From 12 April to 4 May, the 2nd annual "Ocean Art Walk 2014 at Stanley Plaza" is proudly presented by Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation, Ocean Recovery Alliances, The Link and co-presented by the Southern District Council. This three-week event featured visual art and performance to raise awareness of the connection between our everyday behaviour and the health of our ocean, and spread the importance message of ocean conservation.

Created by 12 local and international artists and over 50 young people, the exhibition featured six sculptures and installations, a photography collection and a series of dance performances. The installations and sculptures were created primarily from waste and recycled materials, with artists collectively using over 2,500 plastic bottles, 500 discarded CDs, 350 glass bottles collected from the glass recycling programme at Stanley Plaza, bottle lids, toothbrushes and other found objects. The works illustrated environmental issues relevant to Hong Kong, such as the need to protect our marine life, encourage sustainable fishing and manage plastic consumption and waste.

今個復活節,領匯與BANDAI合辦的「扭蛋狂歡遊樂園」登陸頌富廣場。遊樂園內設有超過三百台結合多款動漫卡通的人氣扭蛋機,以及全港最巨型的扭蛋機及扭蛋系列展覽,讓大小朋友一次過飽覽最新又多款式的扭蛋玩具。場內的 「復活扭蛋砵砵火車」更帶參加者穿梭不同區域,尋找心愛扭蛋。

From 4 to 21 April, The Link and BANDAI jointly presented the BANDAI x The Link Gashapon Carnival at Chung Fu Plaza, where over 300 varieties of the newest and most popular gashapon (capsule toys sold in vending machines) and their associated cartoon characters were on display. An "Easter Gashapon Train" also shuttled participants to different areas in search of their favourite gashapon.

During the carnival, there was a Kamen Rider OOO play area, where young fans of this Japanese live-action drama could try different incarnation combinations, tactics and modes, or redeem limited edition Kamen Rider O-Medals and BIG SLIPPER coins for free. Other activities including a Facebook picture sharing prize, a HK$1 discount area with limited supplies and an exciting HK$2 and HK$5 discount area were also held, which enabled everyone to share in the fun.

New Murals Add Colour and Energy to the Community After the asset enhancement project, Choi Wan Shopping Centre now houses almost 90 retail and food and beverage outlets to provide customers greater shopping and dining variety. From now to June, The Link has organised a series of excited events at Choi Wan Shopping Centre including "instant spending rewards" and "3-hour free parking" in order to increase footfall. To bring arts and creativity to the community, The Link and Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation (HKYAF) jointly organised a mural painting project, inviting artists to lead students from schools in the neighbourhood to create colourful and unique murals on five of the larger walls at the shopping centre, telling the daily lives of the community and showcasing the shopping centre's surroundings in a colourful manner.
