At a recent offsite meeting, our senior executives gathered to explore ways to tackle the challenges ahead, and to share new ideas on nurturing a positive work culture and further enhancing the performance of our team. Our strong corporate culture has been a hallmark of our success, and will continue to play a positive key role in our development as we lead the company through a period of transformative growth.

Link’s decade-long growth journey has been centred around capturing market trends for shared success. Despite our stable business growth, our success has not made us complacent, and we have taken strong steps over the years to build a resilient and diversified business through acquisitions in Hong Kong and Mainland China. Riding on the growth of both economies, these efforts have been bearing fruit. Our Mainland assets have recorded stronger-than-expected performance and 700 Nathan Road, our commercial project in Hong Kong’s core retail district, has already commenced operation after completing a major asset enhancement. Additionally, The Quayside, our commercial development in Kowloon East due for completion in 2019, has secured a substantial pre-leasing commitment from a major investment bank.

Through collaborating with industry peers, we seek to drive value creation further for stakeholders. Harnessing market forces, asset disposal helps accelerate the enhancement of the community shopping centres in our legacy portfolio. Our latest disposal exercise, the largest since our IPO, has received an overwhelming response from local and international investors. The buyer has strong experience and a solid track record in asset management, and we are confident that it will continue to provide quality services at these properties.

Our team’s steadfast commitment to our vision of becoming a world-class real estate investor and manager is reflected in Link’s strong business performance and string of global awards. Our increasingly diversified business offers our staff more opportunities to broaden their horizons and sharpen their skills. Looking ahead, we will further enhance leadership development with a view to identifying and grooming talent to support our business development.
