邁向八載 再創新領域 擁抱改變 發揮無限潛力 Entering the 8th Year of Business Forging Ahead to a New Horizon

過去7年,我們致力發揮旗下商場多元化組合的最大潛力,並因應其特色,為購物環境注入全新活力。這幾年,先後有多個領匯商場進行優化翻新,透過提升硬件配套、改善商戶組合、提升顧客服務及加強推廣宣傳,大大改善了商場的購物環境,既為顧客帶來更豐富及更多元化的購物體驗及選擇,又為商戶帶來更優良的營商環境。

為了更深入掌握顧客對商場進行資產提升項目的滿意程度,我們還特別委託了獨立顧問公司進行調查。調查結果顯示,進行資產提升項目後,顧客的滿意程度大幅上升;附近的居民更願意留在區內消費,又廣納跨區客源,並為社區創造了超過10,000個就業機會,令社區更添活力。

回顧過去,在領匯的營運及管理下,市民享有更佳的購物體驗,不少商戶的生意更是蒸蒸日上。我們的出租率高企,續租率亦不斷提升,可見商戶的業務不但改善,而且營業額有長足進步。我們為小商戶及各商場設計的市場推廣活動深受歡迎,亦為商戶帶來人流與業績。我們的商戶學堂將會舉辦更多協助小商戶的課程,務求讓他們能持續發展,不斷改進服務。

可是,我們意識到某些社會人士對我們還是一知半解,這可能是由於大眾對領匯的接觸仍然有限。雖然我們為社區提供購物中心,為市民建構社區平台的定位從未改變,但不少人只能透過旗下商場的管理服務及由商戶所提供的貨品和服務來認識我們。無論過去,還是現在,領匯旗下的商場都擔任社區核心部分的角色,夥拍商戶共同滿足市民的日常需要,一點一滴地提升市民的生活質素,並發揮社區廣場的作用,為居民提供更多消閒購物及良朋樂聚的好去處。

踏入第八個年頭,領匯將繼續發揮社區平台的關鍵角色。我們屬於社區,亦關心社區。未來將不停向前邁進,牽頭推動社區的發展,舉辦更多讓市民及社區人士可以參與的活動,並讓各持份者均有所裨益。此外,我們會透過更多不同的途徑,加強與各界人士的溝通,並努力實現我們的願景,冀能成為世界級的房地產投資及管理公司。

Dear Readers,

Over the past seven years, we have been doing our best to unleash the potential of our diversified portfolio by revitalising the shopping environment of our malls. A critical element in this strategy is the asset enhancement initiative (AEI) programme we have undertaken. By enhancing the physical structures of our malls, improving their trade mix, upgrading customer service levels and strengthening our marketing promotions, we have been able to offer our shoppers a more enriched and diversified shopping experience with a greater variety of goods and services and our tenants a much enhanced operating environment.

In order to better understand how well our AEIs have been received, we commissioned independent consulting firms to conduct shopper satisfaction surveys. The survey results indicated that shopper satisfaction levels increased drastically after these improvement exercises. Nearby residents also said they were more inclined to shop in their local districts and, as a result, our customer base has expanded significantly. What’s more, our collective AEI efforts have created over 10,000 job opportunities for local communities and have contributed to their revitalisation.

The way we operate and manage our properties has enhanced the shopping experiences of our customers and helped our tenants’ businesses flourish. Our consistently high occupancy rate coupled with the increasing retention rate prove that our tenants’ business have not only made an improvement, but have also shown an increasing turnover. We also support them with tailored marketing promotion activities that have proved highly popular among shoppers and have successfully increased the footfall of our shopping malls and sales turnover. Our Tenant Academy is another example of the support we provide, and we will continue to provide workshops that help our tenants improve and further develop their businesses.

Despite the fact that we have always positioned ourselves as a provider and manager of community shopping centres, we realise that some members of the public have limited understanding about The Link. Quite a number of Hong Kong people only know about us indirectly through the management services that we provide to our shopping malls or directly through our tenants’ products and services.

The Link belongs to and cares about the community in many ways. Our shopping centres play a key role in the community as a public square, where friends and families gather both for shopping and for leisure. We are determined to continue building a community platform for the communities we serve, catering to their daily needs and enhancing their overall quality of life.

Entering our eighth year of business, we will remain dedicated to the development of communities by organising a greater variety of activities for the public, which in the long run will also benefit our key stakeholders. We will also strengthen our communication with people from different community circles through various channels and will step up our efforts to fulfil our vision of becoming a world-class real estate investor and manager.
